Fabric Love #19: FATS and Fabric GIVEAWAY!

Seems like it's been a while since I've done a fabric giveaway... Well here's one (finally) :) I have a ton of FATS ready to for my JAQS Fabrics store with great bundle prices. As a tribute to FATS and the great stuff you could make with I am dedicating this week's Fabric Love to FAT quarters AND a GIVEAWAY.


Yep - I am giving away to 1 lucky reader 12 FATS from the mystery grab bag.  That's 3 YARDS of combined fabric for FREE.  Just leave a comment on this post, be a follower or subscribe to JAQS and let me know why you love FATS.  A lucky winner will be randomly chosen by next Wednesday (7/27/11) at 9pm PST.

    I love fat quarters because they are much easier to deal with than yardage. I can make anything from quilt squares to yo yos, etc. :D They're AWESOME!

    I love fat quarters because I can sample more fabrics - because some of us don't have the budget for yards and yards. And I love scrappy quilts too so lots of different fabrics cater to that. I am now a follower. Great giveaway, thanks.

    I'm kind of new to quilting and fat quarters are so useful because they help me build up a wee bit of a stash to work with ... some variety, at least, without too much of a financial burden ... and yet the size is enough to allow many pattern options. I find them a good size for beginners like me.

    I love fat quarters because they give me a lot of variety, and if I can use different prints in the same color rather than using 1 fabric everywhere in the quilt that I need that color, the quilt looks much richer and more complex to me.

    I think I love fats because they inspire creativity. What I mean is, yardage offers you more possibilities. But if you have a smaller amount of fabric you love, you need to think outside the box.

    Fat Quarters are just so much easier to work with, what makes quilt making just a pleasure.
    I’m writing from my tiny apartment in Jerusalem, the capital of the holy land.
    Tiny home means planning each move, heavily debating which tools to purchase and of course the size of fabric I work with. I mainly use scraps and leftovers gathered from all sorts of places, in effort of recycling. When in need to purchase new fabric, FATs are definitely a sensible option. Sure I will make lots of use from those beautiful fabrics you’re giving away.
    Just found your site and became a follower in hope to receive updates on all new interesting posts with techniques and useful tips. It’s great that you’re sharing all that knowledge. Thanks!

    I love Fats because they give me a huge range of variety. I can try out themes - like Asian, 30's, dots, animal, etc. without having to spend a lot of money. I am a follower and want to thank you for the opportunity.

    I love FQs because they allow you to build your stash and have enough to work with without the expense and storage of lots of yardage. Thanks again!
