Materials Needed (to make 6 napkins):
- 6 Moda 12 Days of Christmas Squares (5" squares). Your choice in prints. I chose 2 each of blue, green and red with the same print design.
- Solid white broadcloth (preferably a thick one with a nice thread count)
- Thin craft wire ~72"
- ~72 beads of choice
- 6 small hanging holiday token of choice
- CUT: Cut each 5" square Moda fabrics into 4 strips. Cut Solid broadcloth into 18" x 21" rectangles - 6 of them.

- For each set of cut Moda squared (should be 4 each) sew the short sides together and press flat.
- Mark 3" from the short side of the white broadcloth and lay a strip of the Moda fabric along side it.

- Pin down the fabric.

- Sew about 1/4" from the seam. Then pin down the other side of the Moda strip - about 1/4".

- Fold along the seam and pin down as pictured. This will hold all the edges down for sewing. I do it like this to avoid pressing. You could avoid all this pinning if you choice to press down the edges instead.

- Sew down the Moda Stripes about 1/16" away from the edges. Try to use the nicely matched thread for the top and a white thread for the bobbin (back).
- Double fold and sew down the edges for all four sides of the napkin. And voila! Napkin is complete.
- I didn't take any good pictures of the napkin ring but here is a quick rundown of what I did.
- Cut wires about 12" long - 6 total, one for each napkin.
- Loop beads through wire and knot each bead with the wire. Add about 12 beads per wire.
- Fold napkin in half with the Moda striped side facing up. Roll into a nice neat scroll with the Moda stripes facing out.
- Wrap beaded wire loosely around the napkin
- Add a holiday token or tag (attach to the wire).

These are really pretty! I was going to try to make something similar for Hanukkah but it's so much harder to find pretty fabric and charms. Hopefully I can find some!
