Are you ready to say good bye to summer? Pack the kids back into school? Say good-bye to lazy afternoons at the pool? I am :) - OK I'm biased. Did I ever mention Autumn is my favorite season? Love it. The slight chill in the air and cooler nights. The still warm days and chillier mornings. O - and the best part? The colors of course.
With signs of Autumn peaking up I am super happy to have these fabrics to celebrate it. Bold and beautiful fabrics from Alexander Henry:
Farmdale Orchard (tint/red)
Cookery Stripe (red)
The details on both these fabrics are fantastic. The apples have crisscross lines giving it a very rustic and natural feel. And the stripe fabric is absolutely gorgeous. The little floral designs (sorry the photo doesn't do it justice) is sooo...perfect. Both fabrics - LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors. I am have a dozen projects I want to do with these...
Do you know what else happens during this time of year? School. With all the kids returning to school, I can't help but to get a little sentimental and start thinking about how fast they grow up and I get a little ...mushy... when I see these two cuties:
Paper Dolls - Turquoise
Paper Dolls - Blush
I know it's the same design just different colors - but aren't they both so cute! They are from Studio E and I have no idea what I'm going to make with these yet, but I couldn't resist. The little dollars and teddy bears are quite irresistible.
