Sweet Block: Sandwiching

Sweet Blocks has been put on the back burner for quite a while now. Between other projects, running around with kids during the summer and reorganizing the sewing room I have had about zero time for this project...well almost zero time. I did manage to sneak in a little time to get the sandwiching done.

This is also a good view of the blocks. It actually turned out way better than I expected since this was my first time dealing with triangles. Notice how each of the blocks is edged with coordinating solid triangles at the corners.

Now the quilt is ready for some quilting. I'm going to combine machine quilting with hand quilting on this one. More to come :).
