Walk in the Woods Children Quilt - Completed!

My latest quilt is all washed, dried and ready for viewing in all it's puffy glory.  This quilt is mainly made using Moda's Walk in the Woods fabric and I LOVE it.

Here's a view of it from the front.  I love all the crinkles in it.  For the first time, I used Heirloom wool batting.  It is super warm, but still very light and easy to wash.  It makes the quilt much for crinkly than what I usually use (cotton batting).

At first I wasn't sure if I should add any blues to the quilt top but I decided to do it anyways because I didn't want the quilt to be too pink :).  Turns out the blue really brings out the color of the dress on the little girl in the pictures.

For the binding material I used a little polka pink from from Riley Blake.  I think it works very well with the quilt top and the quilt bottom.

For the quilt bottom I used a few prints that was used on the front including this pink beauty - also from Moda.

I just really love how soft and peaceful this quilt feels.  I think I will be using the Heirloom wool batting again in the future.
