For mine I decide to use a bold reds and aquas with some earth tones:
If I remembered correctly (which half the time I usually don't...arg!) I think I used about a dozen different fabrics for this quilt. Most of the fabrics are either bolt ends or favorites I had in my personal stash for a while and was waiting for a project like this to use it.
For the binding I used an old favorite from Moda I have used before in previous bindings - LOVE the color - it totally brings out the reds in the quilt nicely:
For the backing I used one of the fabrics from the front (Artful home from Henry Glass) along with a earthy light green/olive solid fabric:
A view of the full front and back:
I love the way this quilt turned out. It's a detailed and colorful design and fabric choice compared to some of the more modern-feel quilts I've been working on lately.

Found this via Creation Corner link up party... this is so gorgeous! I so wish I could quilt like you!
This is GORGEOUS!!! I love the colors!
Oh my gosh, this is beautiful! The colors are amazing.
I'm a beginning quilter and I am in awe of this magnificent quilt!
I've only made a 9 square quilt for my baby cousin and I am in desperate need of making a quilt for my own little one due here in about 5 weeks!
I hope someday I'll be able to tackle something as colorful and fun as what you've shown here!

Beautiful quilt! This pattern has been on my "to-sew" list for a while, and I think it just got bumped to the top. :) Thanks for linking up to {Sew} Modern Monday and have a great week!
I love this quilt! I think I've seen this is a magazine before, but yours is even more fabulous. I may have to use this pattern for a quick Christmas gift. :)
And I bet this would be super quick to cut up with the accuquit circle template. If only I had an accuquilt! Ha! :)
Great quilt! I think you made a good choice on the binding too!
